When should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please arrive at Balvonie House at 13:00 as this will give time to grab a drink and get settled for the ceremony start time of 14:00.

If staying in the house, please use the morning as time to relax and do your own thing, whether that's getting ready or getting out to explore.







I have dietary requirements, what food will be available?
Please let us know in advance any dietary requirements by adding to the RSVP notes.

We will have vegetarian and vegan options for our wedding day, but please consider bringing additional food for your dietary requirements for the rest of the weekend if staying with us.
​
We hope to serve a choice of pasta and salads from Celino's for our evening meal.
Will there be a bar?
One of the benefits to our DIY wedding is there is no paid bar! We hope to provide some alcohol for our guests but please consider bringing some bottles to not be disappointed if we run out!


Do I need to bring anything?
Apart from your lovely selves, please just be aware to bring additional food and alcohol that you might prefer/need across the weekend if staying.

We also ask if you have any disposable/digital/polaroid camera's if you bring them to help us add to our photo collection of the weekend!
How do I get to Balvonie House?
Car: The venue is located in Skelmorlie, which is a 50-minute drive from Glasgow or a 1 hour and 25 minute drive from Linlithgow.
​
Train: It is also possible to get a train to the closest stations; Wemyss Bay or Largs. If you do this, please let us know and we can arrange a pick-up from these stations if needed.


Are you doing gifts?
We don't expect any gifts, especially since we plan on moving to Australia in the next year.
If you still wish to give, then a small contribution towards our honeymoon travelling south-east asia will be welcomed!
